Breezy girl summer starts here.
It's time to let your wardrobe breathe. We're talking easy, breezy (and maybe a touch flirty?). One of my favorite things about summer styling is the laid back look that can take you anywhere- from backyard BBQs, pool-side catch ups, and outdoor happy hours. Casual summer fashion is all about keeping it cool (literally and metaphorically), and channeling 'effortless' without trying too hard. 

Sure- the thrill of layered, visual interest is set aside, BUT that just makes less to think about. So, lean into great fabrics, colors and prints that don't need layers to be exciting.

*Let’s start with the holy grail: LINEN. Linen shirts, linen shorts, linen everything— does it wrinkle? Yep! But who cares- that’s the charm ; )
*Other stars of the show: COTTON.  Poplin, gauze, and seersucker. They are soft, lightweight, and will make you forget about the sweat on your iced coffee runs
*Don't sleep on ACCESSORIES. These details add interest in absence of jackets and knits.  It doesn't have to be complicated- beaded jewelry? It's back. A colorful hat? Absolutely. A woven bag? perfect for your SPF and snacks.
